茶器與茶藝互為體用，本書由陶藝世家「竹南蛇窯」藝術總監鄧淑慧及資深茶人陳玉婷共同合作，介紹十位臺灣重量級陶藝家所創作的臺灣茶碗及茶席呈現；包括國家工藝獎的陶藝家蔡榮佑，以天目茶碗馳名臺、日、韓茶陶界的江有庭，以超高溫環保柴燒創金氏世界記錄的林瑞華，以及履獲傳統工藝大獎的漆陶家李幸龍等十位知名陶藝家作品，提供給國內外人士認識臺灣茶碗茶藝的當代風貌，推動臺灣茶文化，實意義深遠。

Tea utensils and tea art have a symbiotic relationship. This book is the result of a collaborative effort from Zhunan Snake Kiln Art Director, Teng Shu-Hui, who has introduced a long line of ceramic artists, and tea expert Chen Yu-Ting. The book features Taiwanese chawans in tea sets by the ten top Taiwanese ceramic artists, such as the Tsai Jung-Yu, a National Crafts Achievement Award winner；Chiang Yu-Ting, famous in the Taiwanese, Japanese, and Korean ceramic field for his tenmoku chawans；Lin Jui-Hwa, Guinness World Record holder for super high-temperature eco-friendly wood-firing；Li Hsing-Lung, lacquer ceramic artist and a repeated winner of the Traditional Craft Award , and others.... This book is significant because it provides a snapshot of the current state of Taiwanese chawan and tea art for people around the world, as well as promoting the Taiwanese tea culture.
